Anne of Austria (22 September 1601 – 20 January 1666) was the wife of King Louis XIII from their marriage in 1615 until she was widowed in 1643 after which Queen Anne acted as regent their eldest son Louis XIV until 1651. Anne and her son enjoyed a close relationship and aired her disapproval of her son's marital infidelity to her niece and daughter-in-law Maria Theresa.

- Louis Dieudonné of France, (5 September 1638 – 1 September 1715) King of France married Maria Theresa of Austria and had issue. Married Madame de Maintenon but had no issue.
- Philippe of France, Duke of Orléans (21 September 1640 – 9 June 1701) married (1) Princess Henrietta of England and had issue. Married (2) Elisabeth Charlotte of the Palatinate and had issue.
