Armand Marc de Montmorin, Count of Montmorin de Saint Herem (13 October 1745 – 2 September 1792) was a French statesman. He was Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Navy under Louis XVI.




Marriage[edit]

In 1763 he married his first-cousin, Françoise de Tane (1741-1794), daughter of Antoine, Count of Tane, and Marie Louise Alexandrine de Montmorin.


Issue[edit]

  1. Hugues Calixte de Montmorin, 1772 - 10 May 1794) guillotined in the French Revolution.
  2. Guy de Montmorin died accidentally on the île Bourbon in 1796.
  3. Victoire Marie Françoise de Montmorin married César Guillaume,Count of La Luzerne and had issue.
  4. Pauline de Montmorin (1768-1803) married Christophe François, Count, later styled Duke of Beaumont.
