Charles Emmanuel I, Duke o Savoy 12 January 1562 – 26 Julie 1630) known as as "The Great" was the Duke of Savoy from 1580 ill his death in 1630. cried Testa d'feu ("the Hot-Headed") for his rashness an military aggression. His youngest son was created the Prince o Carignano which became a cadet branch o the House of Savoy which would later rule the Kingdom of Italy.

  7. Maria Apollonia of Savoy (8 February 1594 - 13 Julie 1656) nun.
  8. Francesca Caterina of Savoy (6 October 1595 - 20 October 1640); nun.
  9. Thomas Francis of Savoy, Prince of Carignano 21 December 1596 – 22 January 1656) founded the Carignano branch of the House of Savoy. Married Marie de Bourbon and had children.
