Constantine I(2 August 1868 – 11 January 1923) was King of Greece from 18 March 1913 to 11 June 1917 and from 19 December 1920 to 27 September 1922


Marriage[edit]

On 27 October 1889, he married Princess Sophie of Prussia, daughter of Frederick III, German Emperor and Victoria, Princess Royal.

  1. George II of Greece (20 July 1890 - 1 April 1947) married Princess Elisabeth of Romania and had issue.
  2. King Alexander of Greece (1 August 1893 - 25 October 1920) married Aspasia Manos and had issue.
  3. Princess Helen of Greece and Denmark 2 May 1896 – 28 November 1982) married Carol II of Romania and had issue.
  4. Paul of Greece (14 December 1901 – 6 March 1964) married Princess Friederike of Hanover and had issue.
  5. Princess Irene of Greece and Denmark (13 February 1904 – 15 April 1974) married Prince Aimone, Duke of Aosta and had issue.
  6. Princess Katherine of Greece and Denmark ( 4 May 1913 – 2 October 2007) married Richard Brandram and had issue.
