Dorothea Sophie of Neuburg (5 July 1670 – 15 September 1748) was Duchess of Parma from 1695 to 1727. She wis regent of the duchy of Parma from 1731 till 1735 for her grandson Infante Carlos of Spain (later Duke of Parma). She wis an aw a sister of Holy Roman Empress Eleonore Magdalene, wife of Leopold I, Holy Roman Emperor as well as Queen Maria Sophie of Portugal and the last wife of Charles II of Spain Maria Anna of Neuburg..
First marriage[edit]
On 17 September 1690, she married Odoardo Farnese, Hereditary Prince of Parma heir to the Duchy of Parma. The marriage was the first between a member of the Italian House of Farnese and the German House of Wittelsbach. The couple had two children prior to the Hereditary Prince's unexpected death in September 1693.

- Prince Alessandro Ignazio Farnese of Parma (6 December 1691 – 5 August 1693) died young.
- Princess Elisabetta Farnese of Parma (25 October 1692 – 11 July 1766) married Philip V of Spain and had issue.
Second marriage[edit]
On 7 December 1696, the Dowager Hereditary Princess married her late husband's half-brother Francesco Farnese, Duke of Parma who had succeeded his father as Duke in 1694. The couple had no children.
