Duke Max Emanuel in Bavaria (Maximilian Emanuel; 7 December 1849 – 12 June 1893) was a member of the House of Wittelsbach, and a brother of Empress Elisabeth of Austria.
Marriage[edit]
On 20 September 1875 he married married Princess Amalie of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, fourth child and second eldest daughter of Prince August of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha and Princess Clémentine of Orléans.
Issue[edit]
- Duke Siegfried August in Bavaria (10 July 1876 – 12 March 1952) never married and had no known issue.
- Duke Christoph Joseph in Bavaria (22 April 1879 – 10 July 1963) married Anna Sibig.
- Duke Luitpold Emanuel in Bavaria (30 June 1890 – 16 January 1973) never married and had no known issue.
