Duke Max Joseph in Bavaria (Maximilian Joseph; 4 December 1808 – 15 November 1888) or simply called Max in Bavaria was a member of the Birkenfeld-Gelnhausen ` branch of the House of Wittelsbach. The Herzog Max Palais in Munich served as his city residence.
