Ferdinand VI of Spain (23 September 1713 – 10 August 1759), called the Learned, was King of Spain from July 1746 till his death.
Marriage[edit]
On 20 January 1729, Ferdinand married Barbara of Portugal, daughter of John V of Portugal an Maria Anna of Austria. The couple eventually grew to love each other but the marriage remained childless.
