Henri Charles de La Trémoille, 4th Duke of Thouars (17 December 1622  – 14 September 1672) was a French nobleman and military commander, the son of Henry de La Trémoille, 3rd Duke of Thouars, and his wife, Marie de La Tour d'Auvergne.


Marriage[edit]

On 15 May 1648, he married Princess Emilie (Émilie) of Hesse-Kassel, daughter of William V, Landgrave of Hesse-Kassel.


Issue[edit]

  1. Charlotte Amélie de La Trémoille (3 January 1652  – 21 January 1732) married Anton Count of Aldenburg.
  2. Charles Belgique Hollande de La Trémoille, 5th Duke of Thouars (May 1655  – 1 June 1709) married Madeleine de Créquy and had issue.
  3. Frédéric Guillaume de La Trémoille (1658  – 1738) Prince of Talmont, Count of Taillebourg and Benon married Élisabeth de Bullion.
  4. Henriette Céleste de La Trémoille (born 18 July 1662) died in infancy.
  5. Marie Sylvie de La Trémoille (18 July 1662  – 1692) never married.
