Henri de Bourbon, 3rd Prince of Condé (1 September 1588  – 26 December 1646) was the head of the senior-most cadet branch of the House of Bourbon for nearly all his life and heir presumptive to the King of France for the first few years of his life. Henri was the father of Louis, le Grand Condé, the celebrated French general.


Marriage[edit]

On 17 May 1609 Henri married Charlotte Marguerite de Montmorency, Mademoiselle de Montmorency, daughter and heiress of Henri de Montmorency, 3rd Duke of Montmorency. They married at the Château de Chantilly.

Issue[edit]

  1. Anne Geneviève de Bourbon 28 August 1619  – 5 April 1679) married Henri d'Orléans, Duke of Longueville.
  2. Louis de Bourbon, Prince of Condé, "Le Grand Condé" (8 September 1621  – 11 December 1686) married Claire Clémence de Maillé and had issue.
  3. Armand de Bourbon, Prince of Conti (11 October 1629  – 26 February 1666) married Anne Marie Martinozzi and had issue.
