Infanta Eulalia of Spain (María Eulalia Francisca de Asís Margarita Roberta Isabel Francisca de Paula Cristina María de la Piedad; 12 February 1864 – 8 March 1958), was the youngest and last surviving child of Queen Isabella II of Spain and Francisco, Duke of Cádiz, and the youngest sister of King Alfonso XII. She authored memoirs that were controversial for their critical perspective and allegations about the political policies of various Spanish and foreign governments.


Marriage[edit]

On On 6 March 1886 in Madrid, Infanta Eulalia married Infante Antonio, Duke of Galliera, a son of Prince Antoine o Orléans, Duke of Montpensier (son of Louis Philippe I) and Infanta Luisa Fernanda of Spain (only sister of Isabel II of Spain)

Issue[edit]

  1. Infante Alfonso, Duke of Galliera (12 November 1886 – 6 August 1975) married Princess Beatrice of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha (descendant of Queen Victoria) and had issue.
  2. Infante Luís Fernando of Spain, Prince of Orléans (November 5 1888 – June 20 1945) married Marie Say but had no issue.
