Don Pedro Carlos of Spain and Portugal (Pedro Carlos Antonio Rafael José Javier Francisco Juan Nepomuceno Tomás de Villanueva Marcos Marcelino Vicente Ferrer Raimundo; 18 June 1786 – 4 July 1812) was an Infante of Spain and Portugal and was named after his grandfathers Kings Charles III of Spain and Pedro III of Portugal.
Marriage[edit]
On 13 May 1810, he married his cousin Maria Teresa, Princess of Beira, daughter of Carlota Joaquina of Spain and John VI of Portugal.
Issue[edit]
- Infante Sebastião of Spain and Portugal (4 November 1811 – 14 February 1875) married (1) Princess Maria Amalia of the Two Sicilies then (2) Infanta María Cristina of Spain.
The generations indicate descent from Afonso I, and continues through the House of Aviz, the House of Habsburg through Infanta Isabel, Holy Roman Empress and Queen of Spain, and the House of Braganza through Infanta Catarina, Duchess of Braganza. | |
