Head of the Imperial House of Brazil (Portuguese: Chefes da Casa Imperial do Brasil) is an office title held by the leader of the Brazilian imperial family and pretender to the deposed Brazilian throne. The title was first used referring to Isabel of Brazil, of the House of Braganza which reigned in the country from the establishment of the Brazilian monarchy in 1815 to the coup d´état that overthrew the Empire of Brazil in 1889. Headship of the Imperial House of Brazil is currently disputed by the cousins Pedro Carlos and Bertrand.
