Louis Joseph de Bourbon, 8th Prince of Condé (9 August 1736 – 13 May 1818) was Prince of Condé from 1740 to his death. A member of the House of Bourbon, he held the prestigious rank of Prince du Sang.



First marriage[edit]

On 3 May 1753, he married Mademoiselle de Soubise, Charlotte Godefride Élisabeth de Rohan younger daughter of Charles de Rohan, 4th Prince of Soubise and Anne Marie Louise de La Tour d'Auvergne.

Issue[edit]

  1. Marie de Bourbon, Mademoiselle de Bourbon (16 February 1755 – 22 June 1759) died in infancy.
  2. Louis Henri Joseph de Bourbon, Prince of Condé, Duke of Bourbon (13 April 1756 – 30 August 1830) married Bathilde d'Orléans and had issue.
  3. Louise Adélaïde de Bourbon (5 October 1757 – 10 March 1824) died unmarried.


Second marriage[edit]

On 24 October 1798, the Prince of Condé married Maria Caterina Brignole in London. They had no issue.
