Louise Henriette de Bourbon (20 June 1726 – 9 February 1759) was Duchess of Orléans and the mither of Philippe Égalité. By birth and marriage she held the prestigious rank of a Princess of the French royal blood. She married a distant cousin of hers.
Marriage[edit]
Louise Henriette married her second cousin Louis Philippe d'Orléans, Duke of Chartres (future Duke of Orléans) in the Royal Chapel of the Palace of Versailles on on 17 December 1743.
Issue[edit]
- A daughter (13 July 1745 – 14 December 1745).
- Philippe d'Orléans (13 April 1747, – 6 November 1793) married Louise Marie Adélaïde de Bourbon and had issue.
- Bathilde d'Orléans (9 July 1750 – 10 January 1822) married Louis Henri, Prince of Condé and had issue.
