Maria Josepha of Austria (Maria Josepha Benedikta Antonia Theresia Xaveria Philippine; 8 December 1699 – 17 November 1757)[1] was the Queen of Poland and Electress of Saxony by marriage to Augustus III. From 1711 to 1717, she was heir presumptive to the Habsburg monarchy and a first cousin of Empress Maria Theresa.

  3. Frederick Christian, Elector of Saxony (5 September 1722 – 17 December 1763) married Maria Antonia of Bavaria and had issue.

  5. Princess Maria Amalia of Saxony (24 November 1724 – 27 September 1760) married Charles III of Spain and had issue.
  6. Princess Maria Margaretha of Saxony 13 September 1727 – 1 February 1734) died in infancy.
  7. Princess Maria Anna Sophia of Saxony 29 August 1728 – 17 February 1797) married Maximilian III Joseph, Elector of Bavaria but had no issue.
