Marie Victoire de Noailles (Marie Victoire Sophie; 6 May 1688  – 30 September 1766), was a French noble and courtier. Her second spouse was Louis Alexandre de Bourbon, Count of Toulouse, the youngest legitimised son of King Louis XIV of France and his maîtresse-en-titre, Madame de Montespan. Widowed for a second time in 1737, she became a close friend of King Louis XV who treated her as a mother figure.

First marriage, Marquise of Gondrin[edit]

On 25 January 1707, Marie Victoire married Louis de Pardaillan, Marquis of Gondrin, himself a grandson of Madame de Montespan.

Issue[edit]

  1. Louis de Pardaillan, 2nd Duke of Antin (9 November 1707  – 9 December 1743) married Françoise Gillonne de Montmorency and had issue.
  2. Antoine François de Pardaillan, Marquis of Gondrin (1709 – 1741) Marquis of Gondrin, married Mathilde de Carbonnel but had no issue.

Second marriage, Countess of Toulouse[edit]

Eventually the widowed Marquise of Gondrin would remarry Louis Alexandre de Bourbon, Count of Toulouse (an illegitimate son of Louis XIV by Madame de Montespan) on 2 February 1723 in a secret ceremony during the Regency of the Duke of Orléans, Regent of France. Marie Victoire and Louis Alexandre had one son. They announced their marriage after the death of the regent in 1723.

Issue[edit]

  1. Louis Jean Marie de Bourbon, Duke of Penthièvre (16 November 1725  – 4 March 1793) married Maria Teresa Felicitas d'Este, Princess of Modena and had issue.
