Order of Elisabeth

The Order of Saint Elisabeth was an all-female chivalric and charitable order in the Kingdom of Bavaria but was founded on on 18 October 1766 by its namesake Elisabeth Auguste of Sulzbach who was the consort of Charles Theodore, Elector of Bavaria.
