Order of the Balkan Mountains

The Order of the Balkan Mountains is a Bulgarian honor established in 1966. It is awarded to statesmen, ministers, diplomats, civil servants, and foreign citizens for their contributions to international relations with Bulgaria. This order has two classes:

  • First Class: Awarded to high-ranking officials and distinguished individuals
  • Second Class: Awarded to other deserving recipients
