Prince Philipp Hubertus Andreas Christian of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, Duke of Saxony was born 15 July 2015 as the second child and only son of Hubertus, Hereditary Prince of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha and Kelly, Hereditary Princess of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. He has two sisters, one older and a younger sister:
- Princess Katharina Victoria Cheryl Elizabeth of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, Duchess of Saxony (2014)
- Princess Madeleine Aurelia Viktoria Carin of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, Duchess of Saxony (2017)
On 15 November 2015, he was baptized at Schloss Callenberg. His godparents are: King Philippe of The Belgians Countess Alexandra von Schonborn Bernhard, Hereditary Prince of Baden Prince Carl von Wrede Carina Axelsson (girlfriend of Gustaf, 7th Prince of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg).
