Victoria, Princess Royal (Victoria Adelaide Mary Louisa; 21 November 1840 – 5 August 1901) was German Empress and Queen of Prussia as the wife of Frederick III, German Emperor. She was the eldest child of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom and Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha and was created Princess Royal in 1841. As the eldest child of the British monarch, she was briefly heir presumptive until the birth of her younger brother, the future Edward VII. She was the mother of Wilhelm II, the last German Emperor.

  1. Wilhelm II, German Emperor (27 January 1859 – 4 June 1941) married Princess Augusta Victoria of Schleswig-Holstein and had issue. Married Hermine Reuss of Greiz but had no issue.
  2. Princess Charlotte of Prussia (24 July 1860 – 1 October 1919) married Bernhard III, Duke of Saxe-Meiningen and had issue.
  3. Prince Heinrich of Prussia (14 August 1862 – 20 April 1929) married Princess Irene of Hesse and by Rhine and had issue.
  4. Prince Sigismund of Prussia (15 September 1864 – 18 June 1866) died in infancy.
  5. Princess Viktoria of Prussia (12 April 1866 – 13 November 1929) married Prince Adolf of Schaumburg-Lippe but had no issue.
  6. Prince Waldemar of Prussia (10 February 1868 – 27 March 1879) died aged 11.
  7. Princess Sophie of Prussia (14 June 1870 – 13 January 1932) married Constantine I of Greece and had issue.
  8. Princess Margarethe of Prussia (22 April 1872 – 22 January 1954) married Prince Frederick Charles of Hesse and had issue.
